i got the SOF tan airbourne webbing set and the belt was a big problem, the eyelets and washers pulled out as i put gear on it straight out of the box, the rest of the stuff was ok, suspenders ,pouches, musset etc, all a nice colour if a little bright ( 3 skirmishes in bad weather cured that) just beware of those dodgy belts mate .

Platoon in Bury is where I get my stuff from, however they do not have a website. Their prices are slighly better than SOF, and if you're local you can go and try the stuff out before you buy it,... nice guys there.

I believe this is them. I'll give them a ring and see what they've got.

Cool thought so...its not a great website, but it gives you an idea.

I would like a variation of both webbing sets on SOF. id like 1 large pouch and a few small ones then get myself an ammo bag or demo bag.

Shame u cant mix and match without buying it all seperate.

could could spice together half a Garand and BAR cartridge belt, but other than that you just have the pistol belt!

If you want a thompson rig, either 5-cell pouches with the tops open, or mag bags are best in my opinion. Rigger pouch repro tend to come without the side flaps, so dont actually keep contents inside very well!

can't argue with £7 fella, intrigued to what you mean by "cow pat green" ... but it is obviously a copy of a bag in which a dark green dye was used hehe
